What a moment for Tegan Kuhns. He allows back-to-back singles with two outs in the top of the seventh, and when Josh Elander comes out to possibly pull him, Kuhns talks him out of it. Kuhns responds with his 15th strikeout to get out of the jam and strand the tying-run at the plate.

FINAL: Tennessee sweeps No. 9 Mississippi State in Starkville with a 7-2 win in Game 3. Evan Blanco and Bo Rhudy were terrific on the mound while the offense hit .583 with runners on base. Statement weekend for the Vols to get their season back on track.

FINAL: Tennessee beats No. 9 Mississippi State 6-2 to clinch the series. Tegan Kuhns and Brandon Arvidson were tremendous on the mound. Garrett Wright, Trent Grindlinger, Jay Abernathy and Manny Marin were terrific at the plate. Huge series win for Josh Elander and the Vols.
