Dear @avax community, I hope you can agree with me that this has been a milestone week for Avalanche ecosystem. With announcement of AVAX One @agriforcegs, we are truly excited about what we can achieve here for both our shareholders, as well as the avalanche community. I want to provide a sneak peek about our planned yield strategy for AVAX One. Please note this is subject to necessary approvals, regulatory compliance and may change as the market evolves. This is also not investment advice. After deal closing, we intend to put majority of the $AVAX tokens held in the treasury for native staking to continue grow AVAX on per share basis, in the most organic, secured and simple way. Avalanche has one of the highest native staking yield among major cryptocurrencies, which means a) we expect AVAX One to be cash flow positive and profitable from day 1 and b) it serves as a natural NAV growth accrual over time and defense against any market volatility on potential NAV discount. In addition, the company intends to deploy a sensible portion of AVAX treasury to various alternative yield strategies including liquid staking, liquidity provisioning as well as MEV opportunities. The goal here is to earn better risk-adjusted yield return for the company compared to the native staking yield (our so-called "benchmark rate"), as well as help support TVL for various Avalanche ecosystem projects to drive their growth flywheel. We will strive to be very hands-on helping the community, just like how they helped and supported us for AVAX One so far. Hivemind portco are of course welcomed to apply being providers here but they will not take priorities over other projects. The best yield solutions win, as simply as that. For the alternative yield strategies, I do want to say that bar here should be very high as we'd only consider these opportunities if they exceed the native staking yield meaningfully and meet institutional-grade asset management requirement.
