It’s kind of a shame, because Simo fighting against someone he actually got to know, even just a little more, would have added far more depth to the fight and could have developed his character as well, with Loki possibly accepting death for Brun...

I have quite a few. It always saddens me how the fandom usually sees him. THREAD He is NOT an incel, and he ISN’T misogynistic. He’s one of the most tragic characters in the series. The doll ISN’T a s*x toy. He could have been redeemed, and he isn’t as bad as many people think.

@autumnnj0y R11 just feels so rushed, as if the authors just wanted to skip to R12 as fast as possible despite the potential the round had. I kind of wish Simo had more struggle, because that would have made his victory even more satisfying and would have allowed his character to grow.

@autumnnj0y I always thought we would switch POVs after chap 103 or 104. It could have made us understand Simo more and could have potentially made Loki far more intimidating,with a few more tricks shown from Simo’s side as they try to figure out how to counter Loki’s tactics. What a shame

@LokiFromRor No fr! We know virtually nothing about Loki before Brun and why he had that kind of reputation. And with Simo’s POV during the fight it could’ve been cool to see him have an internal monologue (like Ogata and Vasily in GolKam) or him communicating with Radgridr.

@autumnnj0y Definitely! I always thought that both Simo and Loki would have gotten a second part for their backstories, with one showing Loki before meeting Brun and how he got his title. And I kind of wished we could have seen Simo’s POV during the round.

@LokiFromRor Legit been manifesting since I learned the anime scenes in R9 were added and they were honestly very good additions. Both Simo and Loki would also benefit from the added scenes.
