Pursu, after our last exchange I thought was done trying to reason with you. Once again you're trying to smear a creator without just cause. Stand behind your own accusations with clear statements, instead of monologuing like a goofy anime villain. The "receipts" you shared about Cam's work don't reveal anything. For starters if you had shared the original link of the ripped listing you got that first screenshot from, you would have seen Cam had credited the original author. Your other screenshots show leftover vertex or misc data properties. Without a clear accusation there's zero context here to make sense of. When you have to distort the facts to appease your wounded ego, then you have lost all objectivity. This is especially striking considering you have yet to acknowledge why you are using an AI image to promote Melody's head when it's not representative of your actual work. Nor have you explained why your 100% scratch model has ears that are nearly identical to Nyakoh's Tiger Set (Down to the exact placement of fur tufts and ring geo). If you want to engagement farm, so be it. At least have the courtesy of keeping it about yourself. Netting yourself 1000 impressions is questionable when most of them are liable to be negative ones. I will echo a sentiment shared to you on your own server by a concerned supporter: "I hope you find peace with whatever you're struggling with and get back to what matters."

Having beef with kitbashers is like having beef with a construction crew for not cutting and treating their own wood straight from the tree.

Asset creators are the BACKBONE of vrc avatars. AN ENTIRE MARKET OF THEM BTW. To say kitbashers are lesser than scratch creators is so disrespectful to people who spend HOURS if not WEEKS working on assets for people to use. To an asset creator a KB IS their audience.

I’ve also seen the reverse of that. Someone’s hard work is still hard work that deserves the credit of being someone’s H A R D W O R K. Just because your job description doesn’t align with everyone’s doesn’t mean you are better in any way. You just chose differently.

That doesn’t make their work lesser than the next. Quality is the only thing that can differentiate someone’s work to another in the sense of value or effort. I’ve seen higher quality kitbashed avatars in comparison to some full scratch avatars. (2)

As someone who is a near full scratch creator (I’m not good enough at skin texturing to have a base and head) I have something I want to say. Not everyone is going to care or enjoy making a base, clothes, hair or heads and that’s okay. (1)

dont let people tell you that kitbashing is not art. there is a lot of skills to be learned in kitbashing, AAA companies do not create everything from scratch... Kitbashing still requires plenty of imagination, creativity and vision 😄 we all start somewhere 🫶
