And then when we went downstairs and I saw the gallery and heard some of the stories of people who’d performed there and/or frequented the HH as audience members over the years (many of whom were my heroes) I was totally besotted with the space...

We’ve had 18 years of screenings at the HH and I still remember that very first meeting when I came down to meet you in 2007 to talk about our ‘little’ festival and we had a meeting in your office surrounded by all those fabulous costumes you’d designed....
