UPDATE. Students will be let out as normal. They will no longer be shuttled to the temple. Students who take buses will be taking their normal bus. Parents that are picking up their children please do so at the new parking lot west of the tennis courts.

Lone Peak High School is on Lock Down due to information received on a possible person with a gun near the school . All the students are fine and safe . Officers are in the building .PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THE SCHOOL, additional information will follow as it comes available .

Update Highland Blvd: Officers & Crews have been working diligently to rescue stranded motorists and clear the road. We anticipate to have it opened by 22:30 hrs. We appreciate your patience.

Update: Crews are continuing to work to clear the road of snow and stranded vehicles/motorists. Highland Blvd will remain closed until the road can be cleared and traveled safely.

As a precaution 25 homes in the Bald Mountain area have been evacuated. Those effected can meet with the Red Cross at City Hall 20 N. Main.

Fire again on The mountain East of Alpine. Media stage will be Northwest parking lot of the church on Alpine Blvd.
