Reopening June 12 in the Sam Houston National Forest Cagle Campground Stubblefield Campground Scotts Ridge Recreational Area (Boat Ramp, Day Use / Swim Beach.) Double Lake Campground & Day Use Areas

The Lone Star Hiking trail is open. Primitive camping is now allowed; however, the fee-based campgrounds remain closed.

The Lone Star Hiking Trail is open. Overnight camping is temporary closed. All LSHT Club public hikes and organized trail maintenance activities are cancelled until further notice. The LSHT remains open to enjoy during the day alone or with your family.
