Llorente needs to be in world class conversations. He’s an 8.5/10 at multiple positions. He’s Spain’s best right back at this moment and can play as a CM/RM/ST…even CB at times. Fitness is an underrated skill in football and there may not be a fitter player in the world.

@LaLigaMichael Atleti can overload their midfield if we have Cardoso and Barrios fit by the second leg. And I agree next week it might be Lenglet and Le Normand as our starting CB but they would be playing Araujo and Martin as CB so not worried much. But hopefully it'll be an entertaining game.

I am not a CSK fan..but MS Dhoni is the second cricketer i truly loved after Sachin Tendulkar, especially because I share my birthday with him. For 15 years..15 long years..whenever RCB met CSK, it was full of MahiRat or Mahi × Virat reels. Because on field there was no competition. Now when RCB are getting into probably the best phase of their existance, instead of showing class, taking a dig not at the team but directly on that one individual...is in poor taste. Don't bite the hand that once fed you. .sigh..sad.

@michaelquay11 @NealGardner_ Lmao we have scored a lot of goals in UCL this season and in la liga we always score first. We don't have the defenders who can maintain the lead so we never resort to that method plus our attackers miss a lot of chances, for example Griezmann missed 2 against Barca last week.

I think Simeone has quietly improved Atleti significantly over this past season or two. Purposeful is the word - both on and off the ball. They’re fluid, dynamic and aggressive. Probably underperformed in the league, but in a cup tie? Undoubtedly a big threat. I’m still confident, but going into a tie like this without someone like Raphinha makes things considerably more complicated. Regardless, I think we’re in for a lot of entertainment. A great advert for Spanish football.
