As the new season has started, and we have a new kit this season, I would like to take the opportunity to thank Eddie Feighery for sponsoring our 1st team and Martin Feighery for sponsoring the 2nd team kit.

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT. Longford will be having a second team for next season and with that, Pre season training starts on Weds 18th June at Longford Village Hall at 18:30

Longford AFC would like to say a massive thank you to Longlevens Window Repairs for Sponsoring Robin Jones Memorial Charity game this Saturday. kick off is at 1:30pm with all proceeds going to Sue Ryder Hospice at home. Everyone is welcome to come along and watch and celebrate the life of Robin and show your support to a great charity.

For anyone who would like to come and watch and would like to donate. All money raised will go to Sue Ryder Hospice at home. The game will be sponsored by Longlevens Windows.

After a couple of weeks off we were back at it with 2nd v 3rd in the sun. With a strong performance and a superb 30yd free kick. We took the 3pts on offer and aim to finish the season on a high. 🟢⚪️🔴⚪️⚽️⚽️⚽️

I'm very sad to report that Robin passed away yesterday. Robin gave over 50 years to Longford AFC first as a player , treasurer then as our Linesman. I know he would not want us to feel sorry or sad, but to remember him fondly for the person he was. Nothing would bring him more joy than to see us getting on with it and going from strength to strength. We would like to thank @GalaWiltonFC for joining us in a minutes silence before the game to honour and respect the memory of Robin. We are looking at a memorial game for robin and will post more details when it’s be confirmed and when. RIP Robin 💚🤍❤️🤍
