Set those alarms! Animal Park is back on our screens this Monday 📺🦁 Tune in to BBC One at 9.30am to join @Benfogle and @katehumble for a special summer series celebrating the safari park's 60th anniversary, as well as the show's 25th anniversary.

They're already making use of their nursery area's private pool - and enjoying rides on mum's back while they perfect their swimming technique 🌊🫧 It's too early to know the sex of the pups just yet, but keep an eye out on our social media for updates soon.

Capybaras are born precocial, which means that they are born with fur, open eyes and are able to move and swim within a few hours.

Two new arrivals have made it just in time for Capybara Appreciation Day! 👀 We're so, so, SO pleased to share that Bart and Mildred have welcomed two pups, which is a huge first for us at the park 🎉
