@theJeremyVine Sophie Lancaster's murder was investigated & sentenced as hate crime, tho no protected characteristics were involved. Sophie was killed bcs she belonged to a visible group that was the subject of hostility - attacks like this on cyclists are no different.

@BramleyTweets I recall a university not a million miles from my desk opening their shiny new design school. Almost entirly glass with no obvious blinds. Within a week the occpants were sticking posters and in some cases what looked to be newspaper up on the windows to try and reduce the heat.

Flights home cancelled, wife and kids flew home via Basel at 7am, I’m stuck here until tomorrow. Gwynn and kids land in Basel only to be told connecting flight now cancelled and they’re stuck in Basel with no way home.Beyond head exploding. I don’t know how they get away with it.
