i was at the mall, already at the counter with my groceries. this lady walked up to me, smiling and making small talk like we’d known each other before. out of nowhere she goes, “you look interesting, can I have your number?” i looked at her, then looked at my bill still sitting there unpaid. i said, “you saw me at the counter and still came empty handed?” she laughed like i was joking she still dropped her phone for me to type my number i just pushed it back and said, “at least try small first.” she stood there confused for a second, then just carried her bag and left. she really thought she could get my number without clearing my grocery bills, like bro that's common courtesy fgs😭

FUBAR The biggest gang in a particular neighbourhood was run by a guy with Down syndrome. I know, relax😂 The people in the community did not originally pay attention. I mean, what harm could a guy with Down syndrome possibly cause? Apparently, a lot. It started with a drug gang. They used him to move their product around the neighbourhood. The logic was simple: nobody suspects a guy with Down syndrome. He was innocent-looking, harmless, the perfect cover. So he moved their drugs. Then something happened which nobody planned for. He grew to love it. Not the drugs. The lifestyle, the structure, the routine of it all, and at some point between moving packages and watching how everything operated around him, something clicked. He wanted his own. Now, if you know people with Down syndrome, you will know that they are very strong-willed. So he built his own gang, and recruited guys (all of them with Down syndrome), put them on corners strategically, one at every end of the neighbourhood, so they could come at you from every direction. Take your money, your valuables, and disappear before you know what happened. People still did not pay attention because these guys had Down syndrome. That was the last mistake the neighbourhood made. Slowly, they began to dominate. Anyone who dared stand in their way was eliminated. For years, FUBAR, because that is what they called him, Fucked Up Beyond All Repair, wreaked havoc and sent fear down the spine of anyone who heard his name. The police could not catch him. In two years, the Downies had killed every single one of their Mexican counterparts. An entire rival gang. And through all of it, all the wars, all the raids, all the fights, FUBAR did not die. Until the night the authorities raided his house. They threw a flashbang through the door, and he had a shock. He died of a seizure The man who had terrorised a neighbourhood for years, who had outsmarted the police, who had eliminated an entire Mexican gang, who had built an empire from a position nobody respected, died from a flashbang. That is the story of FUBAR.

When you press Windows + K, you are using a built-in Windows feature called Cast (or Connect in older versions) that uses Miracast technology This essentially acts like an "HDMI cable over Wi-Fi," allowing you to mirror or extend your laptop screen to a TV without any physical wires It opens the Cast or Connectmenu in Windows 10 and 11 to find nearby wireless displays. How to Use this technique: 1. Turn on your TV and ensure it is on the same Wi-Fi network as your laptop. 2. Press Windows + K and select your TV from the list. 3. Accept any connection prompts on your TV screen. This method transmits both video and audio without needing physical cables or extra software.
Dr. Rutto Kiprono@Arap_Turitik

You don’t need that HDMI to connect your laptop to your TV. Press Windows+K

He won a scholarship to study Nuclear Engineering in China His immediate younger sister won a scholarship to study Nuclear Physics at UCLA Their eldest sister studied Mathematics at the University of Ibadan Their father was a professor of Physics, a graduate of the University of Liverpool Their mother was a professor of Mathematics, a graduate of the University of Ife Both their parents still lecture, but now at a private University in Abuja while taking on Sabbatical positions in several universities all over the world. He graduated top of his class in China His plan was to move from China to the USA on a Scholarship or through a special type of visa that would qualify him for employment in a good multinational company or an engineering firm like SpaceX or TESLA Unfortunately, the government policy in the USA changed just as he was graduating, and the visa type he was hoping to take advantage of became restricted His other route, which would be through scholarship and a tenured position as a lecturer, was also affected by the government policy. He had some opportunities to work in China, but he was tired of the country. He really desired to move to the USA or Canada, but there were no offers from there, and he was too busy to apply for jobs like other people. He was a first-class brain, the type that headhunters queue and even pay to have lunch with The election of one politician could indeed change things both negatively and positively for people. He never expected to be affected by anything political in his life due to the success he has recorded in the academic world. He was a name that was well spoken and recognized in tertiary institutions of note all over the world. Eventually, he got an offer from India. It was not what he wanted, but it was a different experience and one that could one day come in handy, especially since he read that some industries in Nigeria had adopted indian software and technology. One could never tell when such an experience would come in handy. He accepted the offer from India and resumed as the Director of the Technical Division of the company that employed him. He got a very large office, an apartment, a driver, and other perks apart from his salary. It was the life he wanted, but not in the country he desired. He told himself he would stick with them till the end of his five-year contract and leave. The present government in the USA will only spend four years in office, and the next president might change all the policies that have prevented him from moving to the USA. The deputy director he was working with was an Indian, she had been with the company for four years and would have been promoted to his role if the company hadn't decided to outsource the role to him He treated the lady with respect and listened to her input and counsel before making decisions. The company was kind to him as everything he touched seemed to turn to gold. The company started experiencing its optimum productivity from the month he joined, and month after month, he surpassed himself. The CEO, a billionaire, invited him to lunch to celebrate new milestones almost every month One day, he woke up, and he couldn't remember who he was or what he did. It was an affliction that didn't announce itself. As if a bulb in his head was switched off, and his mind remained in perpetual darkness. The CEO of the company was worried when they didn't see him at the office for a week. When they eventually checked up on him, they realised he was lost in a hypnotic haze He was able to do the basic things like cook, eat, and dress himself, but that was all. He was not sleeping, just staring into space all day He was not even speaking or functional beyond the basics. They got doctors, psychiatrists, and behavioural specialists to examine him. The recommendation was for him to be taken to a familiar environment outside India for a while Everybody said it was stress and other mumbo jumbo. He didn't have a concussion, no accident, no trauma of any kind, and yet he had become a vegetable of sorts. His office reached out to his next of kin in Nigeria and gave them the news. Tickets were sent to his sister in Nigeria to aid her journey to India so that she could fly with him back to Nigeria The sister in Nigeria reached out to the sister in Canada They didn't want to alarm their parents and decided to travel to India together to see their brother The sister in Nigeria reached out to the brother in Jeans and a T-shirt Sir, there is a fire on the mountain I got a call from my brother's place of work in India They said he has developed a mental illness, and they want me to come to India so that I can escort him back to Nigeria. Please, sir, pray with me What is the Holy Spirit saying? They prayed. The instruction was simple When you get to India, take him to his office When you get to his office, make him sit on his seat while you read four scriptures out loud and pray in the Spirit "Should we call you when we get there? We would like you to pray for him, sir," The sister said The Brother in Jeans and a T-shirt said, "That will not be necessary. Let us be smart and do what the Holy Spirit said we should do, the way he said we should do it." The two sisters arrived in India and went straight to his apartment. The apartment was about ten minutes drive from the office. They took him to the office and told the staff members who asked that they wanted to pack his personal effects. They were shown into the office When they got there, they sat him at his work desk, prayed in the spirit in hushed tones as they opened their Bibles and began to read the scriptures. Ezekiel 37, Song of Solomon 16, Psalm 57, Ezekiel 1, and Revelation 4. By the time they finished reading Ezekiel 1, he had fallen asleep with his head on his desk The sister sent a picture of him sleeping to the Brother in Jeans and a T-shirt. The Brother in Jeans and a T-shirt told them to keep praying until he wakes up by himself. He also told them that it is likely the person who stoked the fire of the affliction would see that he was recovering and come to them, but they should not panic The atmosphere they had stirred would arrest the demon and its agent The sisters prayed on and also took turns reading the scriptures every thirty minutes in between prayers. At about 8 pm They heard a knock on the door They opened it, and it was the assistant director She looked at them, looked at the man on the desk, and fell down face-first as if she had been hit with something on the head The sisters continued to pray till midnight. He woke up fully back to himself. His deputy also woke up from her "slain in the spirit experience," but oddly, she could not stand up on her feet. Every time she attempted to stand, her knees buckled, and she fell back to the floor. The Sisters asked her to confess what she did so that she could be healed, and she did so. She said she felt slighted that they gave him the position that ought to have been given to her rightfully, and she went to seek redress with a local shaman. She was led to Christ, and she was healed instantly. The brother was a born-again Christian, but he was not spirit-filled, and he was not stirring up the Spirit of God in Him as he should have been doing. This was why he fell prey to such a demonic attack without any resistance. The sisters returned to Nigeria and Canada, respectively, with songs of praise in their mouths and an assurance that the power of God is at work in them through the Holy Spirit. The brother continued to thrive in India His walk with the Lord became strong. He started an online fellowship for professional Christians in India that is still thriving till today. This event happened in January 2025. -GSW-

A brief story of brotherhood. We lifted him because it is worth it. Come with me. In 2020, one of my sisters told us (her brothers and mother) that she is no longer interested in dating her fiancee. What! We exclaimed. We had met him a few times. Very good guy from a good family. Her major reason was his financial status as of this time. He had lost his job in a food processing company. So, he was struggling financially. For us, her brothers, that was not an excuse to 'abandon' a good man. We told her "see at a time, we your brothers were like him". What if no woman listened to us? What if no one ever take a chance on us? So, we counselled her. Around this time, she was also unemployed but managing a business to keep body and soul together. Women! Few months later, my big bro use his connection in the Nigeria banking system to get both of them a banking job. With that, there was no excuse that he has no money or job. After 9 months on the job, he signifies interest in marrying her. His family met ours and a wedding date was fixed. In late 2022, we had a small Nikkah in my hometown and that was it. They became husband and wife. 4 months later, she relocated to his state of residence. With that, they started living together. Gradually, they were managing their lives. Then in January 2024, an opportunity came for them to relocate abroad. It was a job offer from a country in North America. The job was facilitated by one of my brother. My sister husband was a best fit for the job. He wrote the necessary exams and passed. Then their relocation processing commence. All went well. Ladies and gentlemen, in August 2024, they relocated abroad. The husband with a work permit while my sister was the dependent. One year later, they became a Canada permanent residents. Today, they live happily as a young family in Canada 🇨🇦. Her husband has potential to make it Big in IT space in North America. A very good and intelligent guy. Imagine losing such a GEM as inlaw. Is that not true brotherhood and what humanity should promote? We did it for him, our sister and their children. So, as a man, that is what you should do for your sister. Also, as a lady, seek opportunities for that guy you love. Many men will never forget you and your contribution. Always remember we are all work in progress.

Me: why are you acting like you don’t know? Do you like him? Him: He seems cool, do you really like him? Me: its bad habit to use question to answer questions Him: oh-oh. Well, he is not bad, I like anything you like. So if you like him, then I like him too Me: But he doesn’t have money, so I’m not sure Him: I didn’t have money when I married your mum too but I was still better than him because I had a Vesper 😅 Then he went ahead to ask all over Ilorin about him and his family, so much that when he finally brought his people, my dad gave them the stories of his entire lineage. His mum and uncle were dumbfounded🤣 One day after our Nikkah, I did something I can’t quite remember and his mum clapped her hands and said “Ahmed ti nawo raja nibi ti owo re oto- Ahmed has bought market where him power no reach”.
