@Lookyfook @ININ_Games No we should be mad we supported 3 and mad that Yu Suzuki squandered the opportunity to move the story forward. I have no faith that he would if given the chance again. Dlc for this would probably be some pointless red herring. Sorry I'm just really salty about this. Lol

@SwitchAddictn @ININ_Games Yeah I understand. With story DLC and more martial halls etc that would be insane. I mean they have all the core mechanics already built so more than half of the game is already built.. I can’t stress this enough buy the enhanced edition they fixed a lot of the issues

@ININ_Games This game was a waste of time and money. It added boring and pointless mechanics, and didn't move the story. I cried when the kickstarter was announced and foolishly threw money at it since Shenmue 2 is my favorite game of all time. Is any story content being added to this?

Aight I went thru the patch and...Its not NEARLY as bad as the people are saying. Like S1 -> S2 was WAY more egregious. HOWEVER The Tagline of "back to basics" into what we've got from a full season patch definitely does not align and given all the backlash that was already out there over season 2 there's already built up tension thus any wrong move is multiplied. There actually are some good changes in the patch but then there's some questionable buffs that def leave me saying "who asked for that?" Either way I do unfortunately think the competitive scene is pretty burned by the product. At this point I have no answers as to how you fix the relationship because it's only been more and more rocky and since the Devs have committed to the direction of the game they are going a hard pivot would further alienate whoever is enjoying this game as is. just a rough spot to be in as a player and as a dev imo.
