The one bad thing about this Kid Ingrid unit it's all the glenn angst art and posts around.
My least favorite aspect of her honestly. And now is so exagerated and generally when it's focused tends to overshadow other aspects of her including the reason why she looked up to him.

In honour of Ao3 moving out of beta I think we need to remind everyone that ao3 was founded to fight censorship. Literally made as an Archive for fan works because every other site would delete “problematic” works or cave to outside pressures

Making the "damsel in distress" bad in base was always a bad take on storytelling.
A character can be a damsel in distress and be really good, well written and strong even. People need help, be vulnerable, humans can't do everything and that's good. You're not less for that.

A lot of y'all need to realize that no, implications aren't canon, coding isn't canon, stereotypes aren't canon.
Canon means confirmed by the lore, game or devs, take Bronseele from HI3 even though I hate the game, if something isn't confirmed then it's not canon, quit harassing.

She also didn't "just" get an alt, she got an alt *8 months* ago and had a dry period since 2023 before that.

@LoonBiscuit @blueseamoon_4 @FE_Heroes_EN Because Ingrid isn’t that popular in 3H compared to Lysithea (won the first CYL that 3H was available in) and Hilda. Not to mention she JUST got an alt a couple months ago, whereas Lysithea had a 2 year gap and Hilda a 4 year gap between alts respectively.

@PaladinSlash There's no reason why backpacks wouldn't count. I'm sure IS counts this Dimitri just as much as the rest (every lord gets a unit together and they fulfill that here) and even the fan wiki counts them.

FE Fans widely and genuinely using CYL as a measure of units popularity and merit is why you can never -under-stimate the average intellect in the fandom. However low you go is probably right.

@PaladinSlash Marianne has none what? she has four units, the same as Ingrid before this alt. The 3h girls are JUST now getting their 5th alt so Marianne's likely to get it soon.
I hope that Leonie and others get more alts soon, but Ingrid herself is not a particular problem like IDK Celine.

@LoonBiscuit The problem is that it’s the same seven characters. The childhood friend squad, Bernadetta, Dorothea, Hilda, and Lysithea. Meanwhile some characters like Ferdinand, Petra, Dedue, and Leonie have 1. While Marianne has NONE.

@ChanseyAleo @blueseamoon_4 @FE_Heroes_EN CYL is not a way to measure characters popularity, it's just a way to create engagement in the community. You're mixing up concepts and usefulness of different tools.
IS has data about which units get played, S-supported, etc. in 3H. Summoned, sold, etc. in FEH. They use that.

And Yes he should get more attention, Gatekeeper is more popular than Ingrid anyway based on the only way of measuring characters popularity lmaooo

@ChanseyAleo @blueseamoon_4 @FE_Heroes_EN CYL literally doesn't matter at all. It's based on botted votes and group campaigns for x and y reasons. Using it as a metric of worth is silly -at best-.
Otherwise you're arguing that the gatekeeper should get 10 alts like the Lords.

The fact that she's up there when CYL winners like Marianne or Sylvain have less care put into them, and others like Leonie aren't in the game (kinda) is the thing that stands out.
