@djk29_ In hindsight, he probably should have but if he does that and then misses then people would criticise for him taking himself out of rhythm. The pressure does funny things

I know pressure affects everyone but if I can could criticize one thing about Mark Allen last night is that on that missed black why did he go straight down and play it instead of going back to his chair, taking a sip of water, composing himself and then play the shot?

I've met a lot of players by this point in time now, and whilst they've all been pretty much varying levels of 'great people', Shaun has always been one of the absolute nicest and most giving. Very complimentary of my account on here and always game for good chatter and fun. He even joined in with the 147 thread for a bit! He catches quite a bit of stick at times, so I just wanted to put out there that my experience with the guy has been nothing short of exemplary. A class act, truly, and a superb ambassador without question. As much as Wu would make a sensational world champion, I really hope Shaun does it after all he's given to our sport over the years. Would be incredibly well deserved, in my opinion. #WorldChampionship

This World Championship is certainly going to leave some scars on @pistol147, but he needs to look at those scars regularly. Don't shy away from them. Feel them and use them to drive him forward next season. He's a fighter. We believe in you pistol 🔫 #snooker

@Nick_Metcalfe Anybody who says that Mark Allen will struggle to get over that doesn't really know the character of Mark Allen. Yes, it's going to sting for a while, but I fully believe this will make him stronger, and he will win the worlds in the next 3 years

I did hear from a few people here last night that Mark Allen will struggle to get over that. I don't see it like that as it happens. First, him as a person. Gutsy competitor. Keeps things in perspective. Also, we move on from stuff easier now. Life so busy 24/7. #Snooker
