It had a wide production run & the value of the unit will drop once another platform can offer better performance for the same games. It’s not the 90’s console market or collector’s scene anymore.

Just remember that there were much more expensive consoles than the PS5 Pro at launch, adjusted for inflation, one that cost the same w/o adjustment, & one even more expensive
