Juneteenth is celebrated on June 19th annually. On this day in 1865, union soldiers brought news to the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas that all enslaved people were free. Black Americans were finally liberated.

A year ago, yet another innocent Black man, George Floyd was killed at the hands of a broken policing system. George Floyd’s life mattered, Black Lives Matter. Forward Thinking mourns for his loss and the countless Black lives lost at the hands of the police system.

Forward Thinking stands with the AAPI population and condemns any and all racism or bigotry.

As Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month continues, we'd like to bring attention to the hate and abuse that the AAPI population is enduring. Here is some useful information and some ways that you can get involved to #StopAsianHate. (Thread)
