I'm very excited to announce the RoA 1 Grassroots League is back with Grassroots League: Geophytes! This rebirth will be a precursor to a full fledged circuit for Rivals 1 in 2027. GRL: Geophytes includes several R1 events that will award points towards a Heat Wave 9 voucher!

@Protagify Nah that's the valid take away, but while a meta with lots of Hodan and SK is not lovely for an etalus player it might be really good otherwise. My thoughts on rivals 1 or overall very positive so I got thrown for a loop with the negative bit getting focus and got defensive lol

Really cool to see! RoA 1 still feels great to play even if the meta is a bit radioactive at the moment, great that there will still be an ecosystem for the fans that stuck around. SBS and co stay goated

@Protagify I would be brave enough to say different characters being at the forefront of competitive play would imply a shift in meta and that a game's meta is generally subjective on if you like it or not. But I'm not trying to be negative at the moment!

@Protagify When I played recently most people were playing the characters who aren't in R2 the most, which makes sense. Had to face a lot of SKs, Hodans, Mollo, etc, which was a very interesting time lmao. Overall still felt fun, but definitely wasn't what I expected going into it
