LAP 40/53 That is now P5 for George unfortunately as Leclerc moves in front. Kimi meanwhile leads by 7.5s from Piastri and is just managing his tyres and car.

We made a small adjustment to the rear suspension going into Qualifying, and it’s tiny, and suddenly the car was transformed for the worse" "Then I started getting these weird vibrations from the rear, so I’m hoping something was not right and we’re able to solve it, but it was really odd." "I just got used to it, drove around it, I could then adjust the front wing to compensate, but the car was just totally out of balance from the entry of the corners to the mid-corner, because the rear was moving around on the entry so I had to drop loads of front wing, and then I was getting understeer at the apex" "A really difficult session, a bit annoying because it’s been two weeks in a row now. In China I was much more competitive and then it went wrong in Q3, here I felt pretty confident after practice and then it was wrong. It was bad for the whole session, so I need to get on top of it."

@LordBaxter28 @MercedesAMGPCF1 Do you think they woke up one day and decided to give russel a certain setup, he chose it, after three practice session, feedback etc, he wanted that. Part of winning in f1 is in choosing the right setup for yourself, ur car and ur style. so, mistake is on him too
