I wish to officially inform all constituents of Pru East that Parliament has adjourned sine die following the conclusion of the 32nd Sitting of the 1st Meeting of the 2nd Session of the 9th Parliament of the 4th Republic. After months of continuous sittings, debates, and legislative duties in the House, this recess provides an important opportunity for Members of Parliament to return to their constituencies and engage directly with the people. During this period, I will be available to interact with constituents, community leaders, youth groups, and other stakeholders to listen to your concerns, share updates on parliamentary work, and discuss development priorities for Pru East. #PruEastMP

Today, I had the honour of witnessing a proud moment in the Parliament of Ghana as the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin formally introduced a delegation of seventy (70) constituents from Pru East, led by James Azupero, who were present to observe proceedings. They had the unique opportunity to witness the final proceedings of the 32nd Sitting of the 1st Meeting of the 2nd Session of the 9th Parliament of the 4th Republic of Ghana, at a time when Parliament is about to rise on recess. It was an enriching and memorable experience for all. This visit forms part of our commitment to rewarding academic excellence, as these students and participants drawn from the quiz finalists and semi-finalists were brought to Accra to observe firsthand how parliamentary procedures are conducted and how national issues are deliberated and addressed in the House. I am confident that this exposure will inspire them to aim higher, deepen their understanding of governance, and prepare them for leadership in the future. Pru East continues to invest in its young minds, and the future is indeed bright. #PruEastMP

This journey forms part of our commitment to exposing our students to broader learning experiences, including a visit to the Parliament of Ghana and other important national sites. I wish them a safe and successful journey, and I look forward to hearing about the valuable experiences and knowledge they will gain from this trip. 🇬🇭📚✈️ #PruEastMP

As part of my commitment to rewarding academic excellence, I am pleased to announce that the promise to take our quiz finalists on an educational tour to the Parliament of Ghana and other notable tourist sites in Accra remains firmly on course. In the spirit of inclusiveness and encouragement, I am delighted to further extend this opportunity to include the semi-finalist schools who were unable to progress to the grand finale. Their efforts, dedication, and performance throughout the competition have been exceptional, and they equally deserve to benefit from this educational experience. I look forward with great anticipation to welcoming these brilliant young minds to Parliament, where they will have the opportunity to witness firsthand the workings of our democracy and gain broader exposure beyond the classroom. #PruEastMP

Yesterday, together with the District Chief Executive, Hon. Dauda Abdul Nassir, and the District Director of the Youth Employment Agency, Mr. Robert Addo Serlom, we successfully carried out the official distribution of equipment to the first batch of beneficiaries under the National Apprenticeship Program. This important initiative forms part of the broader vision of John Dramani Mahama to empower and equip our youth with practical skills for sustainable livelihoods. It is particularly encouraging to witness a good number of young people taking advantage of this opportunity to learn trades and build a better future for themselves. I commend all beneficiaries for their commitment and urge them to make effective use of the tools provided as we collectively work towards reducing unemployment and strengthening skills development within our district. #PruEastMP

As part of today’s Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, I made it possible to donate bags of rice to various Zongo communities across Pru East to support them in marking this special occasion. This gesture is to share in the joy of the season with our Muslim brothers and sisters and to support them as they celebrate with their families and loved ones. It reflects my continued commitment to inclusivity, compassion, and the welfare of all constituents. #PruEastMP #eidmubarak

Today, together with the DCE, Hon. Dauda Abdul Nasir, I joined our Muslim brothers and sisters in Pru East at the Yeji Central Mosque to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. I commend the Muslim community for their devotion, discipline, and commitment to the teachings of Allah throughout this sacred period. I used the occasion to reaffirm my commitment to promoting peace, unity, and development within Pru East, while encouraging all to continue upholding the values of love, tolerance, and coexistence. May Allah accept our prayers and bless Pru East and Ghana 🇬🇭 with lasting peace and prosperity. #PruEastMP #eidmubarak

I pray that Allah (SWT) accepts your fasting, grants you abundant blessings, and rewards you richly for your steadfastness throughout the month. Eid-ul-Fitr is not only a time of celebration but also a moment to strengthen our bonds of unity, love, and peaceful coexistence within our communities. Let us continue to uphold the spirit of togetherness, kindness, and generosity that Ramadan has instilled in us. Today marks a historic and fulfilling moment for the people of Pru East, as the long-awaited dream has finally become a reality with the successful inauguration of the LORDBOAM Skills Development & Training Centre (TVET School) in Yeji. This milestone institution stands as the first-ever TVET centre in the far eastern part of the Bono East Region, a bold step towards expanding access to technical and vocational education for our people. I am deeply honored by the presence of the Regional Minister, the representative of the Minister for Education, and the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, whose support and participation made this occasion truly memorable and impactful. This centre has been established to equip our youth with practical skills in catering, electricals, electronics, and fashion, empowering them to become self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to the development of our constituency. I extend my sincere appreciation to all stakeholders, traditional leaders, party executives, and the good people of Pru East who came through to support and make this inauguration a great success. Together, we have taken a significant step towards building a skilled, empowered, and economically vibrant Pru East. #PruEastMP

As the Member of Parliament for Pru East, one of my greatest commitments has always been to create opportunities that empower our people, especially the youth, with the tools they need to succeed. The establishment of the LORDBOAM Skills Development & Training Centre in Yeji represents a pivotal step towards that vision. This institution has been created to provide our constituents with practical technical and vocational knowledge and skills that will enable them to become self-reliant, innovative, and productive members of society. In today’s world, skills development is key to reducing unemployment and driving local economic growth. Through this centre, many young men and women in Pru East will have the opportunity to learn valuable trades, develop their talents, and build sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families. I therefore warmly invite traditional leaders, stakeholders, youth groups, development partners, and the good people of Pru East to be part of the inauguration ceremony on Tuesday, 17th March 2026, at the school premises in Yeji. #PruEastMP
