@FinalKat_ @Clearpath__ What does it matter? The manga panel matches the vibe of what is being said. And there is demonic imaginary in a lot of anime, shows, movies, etc, but it doesn’t mean that everything in them is wrong or that we can’t watch it or possibly learn some useful thing from it.

@Clearpath__ I like how they're using Bleach - a series known for its demonic imagery - for some dumb religious post.

@DanielvsBabylon True…. I am close to the Lord in sad moments, thank him in really joyous moments, but in my normal day to day life, shouldn’t I be as close to him now as I am in those not normal days? I feel tired and sad right now; I hope I remain close to the Lord when this sadness goes away.

@iAnshhSharma To be honest, I don’t know much about these farmers’ situation and their reasons to protest, so I don’t think I am qualified to say anything. But they do have somewhat free time depending on what season it is though.

@iAnshhSharma Farmers literally used to go to war when there wasn’t harvest season They have free time depending on the season Plus someone else can take care for a little while of the little things that they still need to do when it’s not Harvest season

these mfs have nothing to do other than protest. Well-to-do farmers from Punjab-Haryana-West UP belt are some of the most pathetic people in this nation. Actual farmers don't have time and resources to do this shit every 3 months. Kaam krna nahi bkl ko bs roads block krni hain

@Senyyo FIFA chose Messi because a quiet “good boy” listens, does not argue much, and is easier to influence and control. Ronaldo is a force of nature, “a commander of the field”, he made his own legacy, didn’t give a shit about FIFA, conquered leagues and also the hearts of people.

@Senyyo I don’t know how much Messi is involved in this, but I can’t imagine a human being in tears or really joyous from victories knowing they themselves rigged them. And he has been. FIFA wanted a face of FIFA and a perfect product, Ronaldo can’t be controlled, So they went for Messi.

Why do corruption scandals and controversial wins follow Messi at every club/team he goes to? When Messi was playing for Barcelona there were so many scandals and controversies where many players and clubs called out Barcelona for being favored by referees and officials. One of those being the infamous Chelsea vs Barcelona game where Drogba dropped the famous “it’s a fvcking disgrace” rant at the end of the match. There were so many instances in El Clásicos and in the Champions League where Barcelona had controversial and dodgy decisions go their way, prompting fans to give them the name “Uefalona”. Barcelona is currently in court after it was discovered they were making payments to the head of referees during the period Messi played for them. Ever since Messi joined Inter Miami, they have gone from the “David Beckham club” to a team many fans dislike due to the constant complaints about controversial and dodgy decisions always going in favor of them, and Messi himself has been accused of being the “dictator” of the league because officials seem to be scared of offending him. The whole football world was outraged when FIFA scandalously invited them to the Club World Cup without them even qualifying, and that brought a lot of hatred towards the club. Now the same thing is happening with his national team, Argentina. Argentina has quickly gone from “Maradona’s nation” to one of the most hated teams among football fans. There have been controversies around all the trophies Messi has won with Argentina; fans have accused football federations of holding tournaments more frequently than usual just so Messi can finally win it. Discontinued tournaments like the “Finalissima” were brought back just so Messi can add another trophy to his cabinet, and Argentina is currently getting hate for having so many controversial referee and VAR decisions go their way at the 2022 and 2026 World Cups. Let’s not even get into his controversial individual awards like Ballon D’ors and Golden balls he controversially won. Is it just a coincidence or is it true that in the bid to force Messi on us as the GOAT, the image of the teams he plays for is getting ruined and tainted with scandals and corruption? 🤔

@Senyyo That ruined his legacy. He would have done crazy achievements even without FIFA’s favouritism. I do think Ronaldo is a slightly better player than Messi and in general has done more for inspiration and football’s popularity. But Messi is marvellous and a miraculous playmaker.

@fowodejeda123 @FCB_Trenches @Vfynn_ FIFA is clearly biased towards Argentina. They want the defending champions to go to the semi-finals or the finals at least even if they don’t win, because that brings money and viewership. Plus Messi is a perfect poster player for them, a short dude who plays really good.

@fowodejeda123 @FCB_Trenches @Vfynn_ Not just that, there were lot more, just check yourself online. Argentina did the same foul against Austria too btw like Egypt did, but their goal was not disallowed. I do agree Messi is a goated player and dribbler, but it’s not about him, this is about FIFA’s inconsistency.

🚨🗣️New: Pepe on the controversial officiating decisions in Egypt and Argentina game, Messi and Argentina are being favored: “Today the whole world watched the same match. Egypt scored a perfectly good goal, celebrated it, earned it, and then VAR suddenly turned into a time machine. They went so far back looking for a reason to disallow it that I thought they were reviewing the pyramids being built. That is my first question. If VAR can travel that far into the past to cancel Egypt’s goal, why could it not travel five seconds into the future when Egypt were screaming for penalties? Funny, no? One team gets forensic investigation. The other gets silence. Egypt were leading. Egypt were controlling the game. Egypt were making Argentina uncomfortable. Then came the intervention that changed everything. The disallowed goal. The moment that shifted the entire momentum of the match. And after that? Two penalty appeals. Two. Not one. Two opportunities for the officials to show consistency. Nothing. No urgency. No transparency. No explanation that convinced anybody. Then Argentina go down the other end and score the winner. Football is a game of moments. The referee’s team decided which moments deserved attention and which moments deserved to disappear. People tell me Argentina showed champion mentality. I agree. But champion mentality and controversial officiating are not mutually exclusive things, Both can exist at the same time. What I cannot accept is the inconsistency. When Egypt scored, VAR searched every grain of sand in the desert looking for a foul. When Egypt asked for penalties, suddenly everybody became blind. That is why the Egyptian bench exploded. That is why cards were flying everywhere. That is why millions of fans left the stadium angry instead of simply disappointed. Because losing to Argentina is one thing. Feeling like the rules changed depending on who benefited is another. And this is what football fans hate the most. Not defeat. Not mistakes. Selective scrutiny. The feeling that one decision was examined with a microscope while another was viewed from outer space. Maybe Argentina would still have won. Maybe they would not. We will never know. Because the game was not allowed to reach its natural conclusion. Instead, Egypt leave the World Cup with questions. Questions about the disallowed goal, Questions about the ignored penalty appeals, Questions about consistency, Questions about why VAR looked like a sword against one team and a shield for another. And when football leaves people talking more about the officials than the players, that is not a victory for the sport. That is a failure. Today Egypt lost 3-2 on the scoreboard. But the debate over what really happened will win headlines for much longer than Argentina’s comeback.”

@FCB_Trenches @Vfynn_ It was not about the goal being disallowed, that part somewhat makes sense for Croatia and for Egypt even though it is kinda stupid. But they are inconsistent, because they didn’t give penalty when Argentina did fouls and not even checked through VAR when Egypt appealed.
