@ProsMarocains You have only succeeded in displaying your ignorance in public! You know within yourself that the reason you gave isn’t justifiable.

Many people wondered why the ball boys tried to move the towels that was placed near the Senegal goalkeeper’s goal.
For viewers outside Africa, it is important to understand that in African football there have been well-known precedents where some teams resort to rituals or symbolic practices, sometimes placing objects near the goal in an attempt to gain a psychological or symbolic advantage.
While such acts are not fully acceptable, they were not the main reason for any disruption during the game. The reaction of the ball boys were therefore a preventive and protective gesture, intended to keep the match focused purely on football and free from any external influence.
This explanation is meant to clarify the situation for international audiences who may not be familiar with these cultural realities.

iShowSpeed's recent tour of Africa unintentionally revealed some uncomfortable truths that we need to address.
Other African countries clearly understood the assignment. South Africa offered him three days of well-organized, creative experiences, including car racing and visits to zoos and wildlife reserves. Eswatini maintained the safari vibe, while Rwanda provided gorilla encounters and structured activities. Kenya impressed with vibrant matatus, cultural dances, and authentic Maasai tribe experiences, showcasing history, nature, and pride. The result? Record streams, global attention, and respect.
However, Nigeria's presentation was disorganized. Upon arrival in Lagos, iShowSpeed was met by aggressive street touts demanding money. The behavior of some "celebrities" was embarrassing. An interview with Egungun was awkward, filled with pointless questions and mispronunciations. Other personalities chased clout but were ignored. There was a lack of coordination and structure, replaced by inflated egos.
Instead of showcasing Nigeria's culture, creativity, and history, iShowSpeed was overwhelmed with noise, superficial celebrity, and desperation, making the experience feel more like begging than tourism.
Consequently, he left the next day, not out of dislike for Nigeria, but because no one could provide him with a worthwhile experience, even for a single day.
While other countries used creativity to gain global respect, Nigeria's reputation as the "giant of Africa" suffered. The celebrities failed to promote the country, instead dragging it down with chaos, noise, and poor planning.
This was more than just a bad impression; it was a missed opportunity and a wake-up call.
We are capable of better, but only if we are honest with ourselves.

Senegalese Head Coach should face disciplinary action for his misconduct, despite winning the competition. Even if the referee’s decision was not favourable to your team, it’s part of the game. But ordering your players to leave the pitch while the game time was still on was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
Had Sane not salvaged the situation, what would have happened? Forfeit the match and let the host team have the trophy? What would have become of the one goal lead his team had?
Africa should set a clear precedent that bad behaviours are not our way of life.

This is one of the points raised by Algeria following their defeat to Nigeria yesterday.
According to the Algerian camp, referee Issa Sy showed a lack of respect and sportsmanship toward their players.
They claim that after the final whistle, the manner in which he shook hands with Algerian players was noticeably different from how he greeted the Nigerian players.
Algeria are now calling on CAF to remove the referee from the remainder of the tournament and send him home.
Watch the video carefully and share your thoughts.
