@Lesufi you are in government it can't be that you are telling the whole province you are unable to develop some areas because of someone who broke the law wherever coming to this country. Do you know what happened to South Africans who broke the law and went to build on the land they were not allocated ? You and your government took bulldozers and demolished their houses. Stop handling illegality with kids gloves. South African natives are treated like they dont belong whilst people who broke the law are handled with kids gloves.

The Premier of Gauteng, Panyaza Lesufi, told Clement Manyathela earlier this morning that he also shares the same sentiments as March and March participants regarding undocumented foreign nationals. He said that in Gauteng, most informal settlements are dominated by undocumented immigrants, who he claims sometimes resist development in those areas because they know they will not benefit from it, as they are not in South Africa legally.

Disgrace people, they all kept quite when South Africa took Israel to ICJ and never supported. They kept quite when Elon and Trump blatantly lied about white genocide without condemnation. They are mum on Nigerians displacing other tribes and killing each other because of their religions and beliefs. South Africa invited them to G20 as the chair but the kept quite when Donald Trump said South Africa is not invited to the USA G20

We must not lose our sense of humanity when we confront the problems we have as a nation. There is no justification for taking the law into your own hands, our laws must be adhered by citizens and visitors. We do not at all condone illegal immigration we are determined to address this by strengthening the capacity of the law agencies and our legal instruments. And crucially we will continue engaging all the stakeholders including our partners on the continent and beyond about the root causes that lead to some of the immigration challenges we face.
Blanco®@DineoDMufamadi

Yeyyy @RonaldLamola stop calling concerned South Africans who are fed up of being put last while your government puts illegal immigrants first “VIGILANTES”! They are not vigilantes, they are fed up of you as leaders who continue to open doors for the entire Africa. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Had you condemn the visitors not to break our laws and held the and respective countries accountable we wouldn't be in this situation. You lot have brought this on your own, we as South Africans has for years spoke of the sanitization of illegal immigrants whilst natives suffers from the very same government. You left Chapter 9 Institutions to be taken over by non-South Africans who vilify native citizens and challenge our constitution every chance they get to protect illegal immigrants. WE ARE TIRED!!!

Nigerians in Diaspora Commission
PRESS STATEMENT XENOPHOBIC ATTACK: PROTECT NIGERIAN CITIZENS, END STIGMATIZATION, NIDCOM URGES SOUTH AFRICA GOVT The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission has called on the South African government to protect Nigerians and black immigrants in South Africa, expressing deep concern over the worsening persecution of black immigrants, in parts of South Africa. This was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman/ CEO of the commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri- Erewa. “ While many expected a de-escalation of tensions following earlier engagements between both governments, the situation on the ground is deteriorating”, she noted. Reports reaching the Commission indicate that pupils of Nigerian descent are now scared to attend school. Genuine business owners are afraid to open their shops for fear of targeted attacks, looting, and harassment. Community leaders have documented fresh incidents of violence and intimidation in the last 72 hours. NIDCOM appeals to the Government of the Republic of South Africa to take urgent and visible steps to protect all foreign nationals within its borders, as required under international law and African Union protocols on free movement and human rights. We state clearly that NIDCOM rejects the profiling and generalisation of all Nigerians. Crime has no nationality. Any individual, regardless of origin, who commits an offence should be investigated and made to face the full penalty of South African law. However, collective punishment and blanket labeling of an entire nationality are unacceptable and dangerous. NIDCOM therefore demands: Immediate Security: Increased police presence and patrols in flashpoint communities where Nigerians reside and trade. Accountability: Prompt arrest and prosecution of persons involved in xenophobic attacks, arson, and extortion. Dialogue: A joint Nigeria-South Africa community safety forum with police, city officials, and diaspora leaders. Non-Discrimination: Clear public messaging from South African authorities that condemns xenophobia and warns against stereotyping. We urge all Nigerians in South Africa to remain law-abiding, avoid high-risk areas after dark. We are in direct contact with the Nigerian High Commission in Pretoria and the Consulate in Johannesburg as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. NIDCOM commends the majority of South Africans who continue to live peacefully with their African brothers and sisters. We believe in the historical ties that bind both nations and call for calm, restraint, and respect for human life. Nigeria will continue to work diplomatically with South Africa to ensure the safety, dignity, and rights of our citizens abroad. Signed Hon. (Dr) Abike Dabiri-Erewa Chairman/CEO Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Abuja, Nigeria . 29th April, 2026.

Remember, when thousands of South Africans fled South Africa from the apartheid government. They were welcome in African countries.. giving homes and money and passports. They were also given a place to train so they could go fight South Africa.. South Africa Africa bombed many of these countries infrastructure. Today they forget that.

We have 24/7 light 365/6 days, yes we did have a phase of loadshedding because of grid collapsing due to non maintainance as well as high demand (because of border jumpers and illegal immigrants buddening our infrastructures) but that is the thing of the past. We enough electricity to point that the government is begging us to use it...

It’s better to be humiliated in South Africa with 24/7 light than to stay in your own country with no light. Our brothers and sisters in SA, please don’t rush home, South Africans need to understand our struggles.
