@EndymionYT I don't have to play 9 to see it's glaring flaws. You listen too much to tourists. There's plenty of valid criticism for the Remakes and their retcons of the franchise which, if I'm not mistaken, you're admittedly new to.
Maybe listen to the fans who played the original games.

Finding out that a vast majority of Resident Evil online discourse comes from people who never played the games themselves but instead watched a playthrough online is hilarious.

Y'all are just no fun lol. The series is far from dead. We have 60yo TV shows still going, there's 0 issues with this concept

Resident Evil should have ended with RE5. It's ok for franchises to end, that was the perfect endcap. Wesker is defeated. Chris and Jill are reunited. Chris accepts the life of fighting bio-terrorism with optimism for a better future. No game released since has topped it.
