@PenLightCo Hey social media manager, transparency would be nice. If it doesn’t look like power is going to be restored in a specific area, why not tell people so they can make arrangements before it gets much darker and the roads get worse

5:15PM - crews continue to make progress on restoration efforts. We understand the inconvenience of long duration outages and apologize for the inconvenience. Damage is extensive across the territory and it is a team effort to remove limbs/trees, asses damage, gather supplies etc. all while more outages come up and the process is repeated. Crews are focused on safety and getting power restored - ETAs and causes are relayed if/when they become available. Crews will continue efforts until all are restored.
