When I placed the Renewed Hope Agenda before Nigerians, I did not speak of housing in vague terms. I gave my word that this administration would work to make decent homes affordable again, and that a hardworking family, after years of paying rent, would finally have a path to a house of its own. Let me account for that promise plainly, by juxtaposing what we pledged beside what we have actually achieved. 1/

Atiku is in a deep crisis trying to find a running-mate. Peter Obi refused❌ Amaechi rejected❌ GRV wants to contest for Lagos governor❌ Emeka Ihedioha wants to contest for Imo governor❌ Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Adesina are not reachable.❌ Atiku wants a young person, with no corruption scandal (some argue it is to whitewash him), preferably from the South East or of Igbo descent. And if such a candidate isn't available, he will go to the South West. He is at his strongest political hurdle!✍️

In 2008, 18-year-old Queena Phu went to a Florida library at night to return a book. She was on the phone with a friend when she was ambushed by 16-year-old Kendrick Morris. He dragged her behind the building, raped her, and beat her so severely that she was left permanently blind, paralyzed, and unable to speak. Morris left her for dead, but she survived. When investigators ran DNA from the scene, they uncovered his dark past. Morris had raped a 62-year-old daycare worker at knifepoint just months earlier. In 2011, Morris was convicted of both attacks and sentenced to 65 years in prison. Because he was a juvenile at the time of the crimes, a U.S. Supreme Court ruling later made him eligible for resentencing. He went back to court in 2017 to ask for a lighter sentence, but the judge increased his punishment to three consecutive life sentences instead.

Carrick needs a true 6 in his 4-2-3-1 double pivot next to Mainoo. Tchouaméni is 26, elite ball-winner, great range of passing, and has UCL + World Cup final experience. He’s the guy who will let Mainoo + Bruno play higher without leaving us exposed. On paper that midfield 3 wins you games. He's the guy you build a midfield around for the next 5years, not the next 2. The problem is the word "dream". Real Madrid don't let starters like that go unless you break the bank. We're not in a position to do a €100m+ saga and still need to finish the squad before preseason. INEOS should tried and bring everyone in early like we did with Cunha, Mbeumo, last summer. That's how we hit the ground running. So as a fan, I'm excited that INEOS are thinking big again and targeting elite profiles. Tchouaméni is the statement signing that says United are back in the room for generational midfielders. Whether it's realistic this summer is another question, but if the club genuinely believes he can be our Casemiro for the next 5years, then I understand why he's the name at the top of the board.

🚨Aurélien Tchouaméni | Dream midfield target for Manchester United! If you ask me, who is going to be probably internally considered as a dream target for Man United - He's a player they believe could be another Casemiro for United. [@FabrizioRomano]

I teach in a federal university... I don’t collect money for grades. I don’t do sex for grades. I just finished marking this course. Now my phone won’t stop ringing. Students are calling me left and right. Some are begging. Some are crying. They say they cannot afford to fail. I have already made my stance clear. No compromise. But the pressure keeps rising. Just today, someone sent a huge sum into my Opay account. They attached a receipt. The message was simple. "I don’t want to fail this course." Another student asked to meet privately. Another sent repeated messages at night. Some girls hinted at “arrangements” I refuse to even name. Then came the threats. Subtle at first. Then direct. My name is being mentioned in whispers I don’t understand. I sit alone in my office after lectures. The walls feel heavier. I wonder how far people can go for grades. And how long I can hold the line without breaking. I have evidence of everything. But I also have fear. What would you do if integrity starts feeling like danger and pressure, threats, and money keep coming.... Would you stand firm or eventually break your stance in such situation now? I need your answers please 🥺

This is really funny 🤣 EU leaders gathered in Paris to discuss the Strait of Hormuz, its blockade and how to reopen it. Unknown to them, Iran had already surrendered the Strait to Trump and declared it open. EU leaders were still in the meeting issuing statements and affirmation, when the news reached them that the Strait of Hormuz has been opened. This is just a typical example of people being irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. And Trump just called them useless. 🤣 It is really unfortunate that Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait were better allies to the US than the UK and France.

Dear Readers, Donald Trump is not like any other U.S. president. He may appear to some as temperamental, sharp in tone, and quick to anger, but at his core he is a highly intelligent and stubborn figure who knows exactly what he wants and how to achieve it. Behind the apparent chaos he creates lies a precise, calculating mind—one that weighs its steps with a balance of fire and cunning. Moreover, he can read his opponents as if they were open pages in a book. He is neither as the media portrays him nor as his opponents wish him to be. Aside from his bombastic rhetoric, he neither deceives nor is easily deceived. He detects attempts at maneuvering before they begin and rejects without accomodation any delay. This is why Iran has not been fortunate in his return to the White House, as it now faces a man who looks at it with an eye that distinguishes between rhetoric and substance, intentions and tactics. Yet Trump is not bloodthirsty. He opposes wars in principle and believes that limited sacrifice may be the price of saving an entire nation. He understands that if the ruling elite in Iran do not change their approach, their continued rule means the continued suffering of the people. He is also aware that nearly 90 million Iranians live between poverty and the lower middle class, aspiring to rebuild their country much as Germany did after World War II when it transformed itself into a strong and respected nation in which citizens enjoy stability and confidence in the future. From this perspective, Trump focuses on reviving the interests of people rather than regimes, viewing the change of ruling elites—despite its cost—as a gateway to comprehensive progress that benefits millions of Iranians. Iran is but one example among many. Trump does not forget, nor does he leave matters unresolved. He returns to complex files with a sharp focus that allows for calculated opportunities that other leaders missed or dismissed. The Syrian file, for instance, is not far from his attention. Those who believe they have bypassed or deceived Trump on this issue will soon discover they are facing a man who neither forgets nor retreats until he imposes his terms in full. It is also evident that he is steadily moving toward confronting authoritarian regimes, as his logic is rooted in breaking the closed cycles of oppression people suffer from within such systems. Venezuela was first, Iran is now, and perhaps Cuba will follow. At the same time, Trump is loyal and sincere to those who respect him or deal with him in good faith. Behind his harsh language is a practical individual who values work and achievement and seeks to accomplish something meaningful for his country that changes reality for the better. His blunt candor may be seen by some as a flaw, but he considers it a strength, as clarity for him is a virtue, not a shortcoming. For this reason, those who see him as merely an outlier among U.S. presidents do not truly understand him. He has established an approach that will endure as long as America seeks to renew its strength: Make America Great Again. This is not just a slogan, but a doctrine Donald J. Trump initiated—one that will persist and only grow stronger and more influential over time.

🗣️📌I’ve literally never seen a club with luck this bad in the Champions League like Barcelona! I mean, from the 20th minute, Barcelona were completely dominating Atlético Madrid, controlling the game and raising the tempo. Marcus Rashford missed two big chances and it felt like the goal was coming… then out of nowhere, Julián Álvarez creates a one-on-one for Giuliano Simeone, and Pau Cubarsí, while chasing him, clips his leg and gets sent off because the rules say so! And it’s not just a red card—Álvarez even scores from that free kick! So you go from a team about to score… to a team losing, down to 10 men, and heading out. It’s like a script written specifically against Barcelona! It doesn’t stop there—Pedri goes off, Robert Lewandowski goes off, Fermín López comes on and plays as a winger, Rashford plays as a striker—so you end up with neither a proper striker nor winger, and Lamine Yamal is basically carrying the attack alone. Despite that, Rashford misses a one-on-one that should never be missed, then hits the bar from a free kick… only for Atlético to come back and score a second goal. Barcelona lose in a scenario that’s almost an exact copy of the Barcelona vs PSG 2024 game. Ronald Araújo sent off vs PSG, Cubarsí sent off vs Benfica, Araújo sent off vs Chelsea, Cubarsí sent off vs Atlético… Barcelona’s relationship with the Champions League is literally toxic.

🚨 A Bosnian TV show tracked down Afan Čizmić—the ball boy who STOLE Gianluigi Donnarumma’s penalty cheat sheet during the shootout. 🇧🇦😳 Speaking to FACE TV, he admitted: 🗣️ “I saw something by the towel and knew what it was. I took it and hid it—inside was all the information on our players. Donnarumma noticed straight away and went looking for it, but couldn’t find it.” The broadcaster now wants to take him to the World Cup as a lucky charm… and honestly, he might deserve it. 😅

🚨Nemanja Matić on André Onana returning to Manchester United at the end of the season: “Onana is the worst goalkeeper in Manchester United’s history, and when you are seen that way, you should not be thinking about coming back—he’s like a virus that can affect the whole team. A young goalkeeper like Senne Lammens, at 22, should not have to share a dressing room with someone like him. For me, he should stay where he is or go back home—I don’t want to see him at my club again.”
