Congratulations to the Leopard and Lady Leopard soccer teams on their Area round playoff wins! The Leopards beat West Columbia 4-1. The Lady Leopards beat Sweeny 3-0.

Emma Erler will attend state for her 4th year in a row, a first for LHS. Abby Johnson will head to state for her 2nd year in a row with both of her paintings qualifying for state. Cole Richards advanced to state earning his spot with an amazing printmaking piece!

Congratulations to the LHS artists who competed in the Region 12 VASE contest. 21 students receive gold medals and advance to Area with a total of 24 gold medals in Region! Three students' artworks earned gold in Area and advanced to State in April!

Chuy’s Tree Service has done it again! Chuy & his team donated their time & labor to clean up the trees at the Middle School. Last year they did this at LES. We are thankful to Chuy and his team for their incredible support of LISD! Thank you Chuy’s Tree Service!

🚨SCHEDULE CHANGES🚨 The Lady Leopard softball game today has been canceled. The Leopard soccer match at Marlin has been moved to Wednesday, March 4 at 5:30 p.m. The Leopard baseball team has added a Varsity home game on Friday, March 13 against Mildred starting at 1:00 p.m.

The Lady Leopard Track and Field team had a record setting day at the Troy Meet. New school records were set in the 4x100 and the 100m hurdles. Congratulations Lady Leopards! #TheLeoprdWay

The LHS boys golf team had a strong showing at the Waco ISD Match Play Tournament winning the Silver Division. Congratulations Leopards! #TheLeopardWay

The operating room was open in Ms. Dawson's class as students performed surgery to extract unnecessary letters and create new and efficient contractions. The students are now experienced at making sentences leaner, faster, and much more efficient. Well done Leopards!
