Empowering Mothers with Essential Knowledge for Healthier Babies Some mothers believe that feeding their children is enough and that breastfeeding is not necessary. Unfortunately, without the knowledge of how to provide optimal nutrition, many babies become malnourished and suffer unnecessarily. At the Mothers' Club meetings, they have learned about the importance of breastfeeding for my baby’s well-being. These meetings provide valuable education and support, helping them to make informed decisions for the health of their children. According to @WorldVision report, 34.9% of pregnant women and mothers practice birth spacing, and 67.43% of infants receive care from qualified health personnel. To further improve maternal and child health, World Vision has partnered with Partners in Health to establish 120 rally posts and three mobile clinics, aiming to reduce the maternal-infant mortality rate. Thanks to these initiatives, 96 pregnant women and 2,416 children under the age of 5 have benefited from prenatal care, vaccinations, and vitamin A supplements. Together, we are creating a brighter future for our children and communities. #WorldVision #worldbreastfeedingweek2024 #WBW2024 #SupportBreastfeeding #Haiti

#WBW2024 #ClosingTheGap
