⚛️ React tip: when conditionally rendering component based on some string enum (like a role), use an object to map enum values to components. This can be cleaner than using conditional operators, and it keeps the logic organized & clear.

I've been pushing a 14Mo object to all my pages by spreading some props without noticing and was wondering why my @nextjs builds and @Cypress_io tests took THAT long… Lesson learned: if you need to increase tests timeout suddenly, you might have a problem🤦‍♂️ (obvious but hey)

Also, maintainable !== easy to learn. Of course there's a learning curve. Maintainable in this sense means that adding/modifying/removing features can be done easily & fearlessly, since the logic is clear & declarative. Ad-hoc logic becomes harder to maintain over time.
