@ManagerTactical How about a best IX that was college developed? And compared to a best IX mls developed and Europe developed? We should definitely include pre mls, because the college system was still the same as it is now

One thing we rarely talk about is college soccer in the USA, it’s often mocked but it plays an important role in player development. Which are the top 5 USMNT 🇺🇸 players(former and current) that played in college?

Understanding the Brazilian Forward: Take a minute to look at the forwards Brazil produce. Almost none of them are traditional number 9’s in the European sense. They don’t attack the box, run off last man, play on shoulder, offer depth/attack space in behind. Nor are they touchline wingers that stay high and wide. They’re second strikers. Cunha, João Pedro, Gabriel Jesus, Endrick, Raphinha, Rodrygo, Martinelli, Vinicius, Savinho… They thrive attacking central space. They lurk around the box, look for cutbacks, give and go’s, short, quick combinations. They don’t run off the last man/attack near/far post, nor are they static/positionally rigid. Not quite 9’s, not quite 10’s, not quite wingers. Look at how futsal, small sided games & street football define attacking play. Tight spaces, quick combinations, improvisation, ball to feet. Teammates in close proximity builds relationships. They drift, combine, then exploit the space it creates. The ‘one two’ or ‘tabela’ is a fundamental part. Player A plays it into Player B, who follows his pass and receives. Player B unmarks himself and attacks free space. Repeat. Pass and move. This is how they understand space and relationships. The forward in this environment is a ‘pivot’. Mobile, technical, links play, ball into feet. It’s not a game of being (occupying pre determined space/controlling specific space) but arriving. Creating (through movement) then attacking said space at the right time. It’s a game of dynamic advantages (temporary moments of superiority), not positional control. Micro-advantages to be exploited in real time. Quick combinations, off the ball movement, tempo shifts (rhythmic, not a constant tempo), drawing defenders = creating space, then exploiting it. Ever changing temporary windows of opportunity created through dynamic interaction. European football really struggles to understand this. And it must get to grips with it if it wants to understand and get the best out of the Brazilian players at their disposal.

@LosJr6 @autosport Ferrari's North American racing efforts were under the NART name, North American Racing Team. The teams colors were white and this deep blue, across Sportscars, F1 and more.

Jon Bernthal says he didn't like how Frank Castle was written in the pre-overhaul version of #DaredevilBornAgain: "It was not something I was really interested in doing. So we had to walk away. They really brought me into the conversation. We really got specific about where Frank is psychologically, where Frank's at physically.” (🔗ew.com/jon-bernthal-d…)

Steve Cherundolo might be a good coach one day but he's young, inexperienced and only a proven commodity in MLS. We CAN and SHOULD aim alot higher for the most important tournament in American soccer history.
Derek Richey@BoomerRichey

So, Doug McIntyre has deep connections with US Soccer. His report with @JimmyConrad confirms 1) US Soccer hasn't made a final decision on Gregg. That happens Monday. 2) They probably will reach out to Klopp. 3) More likely, be ready to embrace Steve Cherundolo as the new coach.
