Being apolitical/centrist is a right wing dogwhistle. It communicates you accept the statue quo - that is conservatism. It implies you don't care about marginalised people or their struggles. If YOU don't think that applies to you, stop saying you are apolitical or centrist.

@KaiserBeamz It also doesn't shake the feeling that they’re cramming too much stuff into this movie as it is. They can throw in as much fan service as they want, but it won't amount to anything if the film is just another soulless Illumination cash-grab.

HBO's Harry Potter trailer has all the passion and whimsy of something that was AI-generated. I can still remember how bright and bombastic the original film's trailer was with John Williams' score. This new version doesn't look like something anyone really wanted to make.

It's clear that this series was made for 35-year old millennials in mind because the Chris Columbus movie was made for children and that has stuff like lightning and color in it. Oh well, if you're a Harry Potter fan in this day and age, you're getting the remake you deserve.
