@D1Tremere @Wizards_DnD Smite is now a spell, not a class feature. Rakshasas are immune to spells below a certain level. Paladins to not get slots high enough to up cast it over their spell immunity.

@DnDBeyond Glow up? These changes have single handedly made my paladin player ask if we can stick with 2014. One of the big bads of the campaign is a rakshasa and now he is immune to smiting. I home you remove creatures with magical immunity.

@maranothar @Wizards_DnD My pali player is playing a knight of Solomnia and has the feats that take up his bonus action. Now he’s have to chose to smite or command rally. And making it a spell means you can’t smite rakshasas anymore.

@Wizards_DnD Class features should not be spells. Find steed and smite should be base abilities of the class, not spells. Eldritch blast should be a class feature not a spell. This is poor design philosophy.

@Wizards_DnD Thank you for making rakshasas immune to smite. Well done. If you wanted to nerf it, just let it happen once per round. This was a horrible idea.

@Wizards_DnD If Divine Smite is going to be spell, does it mean that my paladin can no longer smite Rakshasa (partial spell immunity) back to Nine Hells were it belongs!?

@mattcolville @helloMCDM since DnDBeyond is allowing third party content now, is there any chance that your items may end up on that platform? I’d willingly rebuy my books if I didn’t have to manually add stuff via homebrew to use it in that platform.
