Bassem Youssef came to the U.S. as an asylum seeker, asking for protection from the Egyptian military regime. Yesterday, he signed a contract worth $400,000 a month to work with the Egyptian military regime’s media company in Egypt. Millions are like Bassem. They come to the West, claim asylum, gain citizenship, and then travel freely back to their countries, using their new passports as shields while attacking the West. If Youssef was granted citizenship because his life was supposedly threatened by the Egyptian regime, and now he’s openly working with that same regime, shouldn’t he lose his citizenship?

@NoaMagid That's fine, but the so called "strategy" to remove them is causing Israel some significant blowback. Time to rethink the playbook

Today's war is a global war fought between the often contradictory goals of liberalism and democracy. Sometimes the two are compatible, but in an age of mass migration and free flowing information many populations are beginning to question which principle should take precedence

Neither Israelis nor Palestinians can be relied upon to make the moral choice in this conflict. Both sides believe themselves to be fighting an existential war where mere survival is paramount. In this situation the only solution will come from the global community forcing a solution on both parties that neither one enjoys but that the cost of breaking is so severe that neither side would dare to do so

@EYakoby Because Europeans and Americans have almost 0 influence over what Hamas does in Gaza. Meanwhile Trump could end the war tomorrow with a phone call

This week, Hamas executed: - A Gazan aid worker - A Gazan aid truck driver - Two Palestinian journalists The media has completely ignored it. Not a single mention of these murders. Why is that?

1. I agree, those don't seem like sensible goals 2. The war didn't start on October 7th 3. There are 3800 Palestinians in Israeli prisons without charges or trials. There are more recorded instances of Israeli sexual assault and rape against Palestinians than the other way around. 4. The only reason they warn is because they're attacking civilian structures 5. Neither side, both believe they're fighting an existential war which makes morality irrelevant in the face of survival. It's not up to either side to be moral, the responsibility is on the world to punish both sides and force them into a ceasefire that neither one want for their own good

@losttohistory Those seem like sensible goals. Israelis didn’t start didn’t start the war. They didn’t rape and kidnap. The do warn the civilians of impending military action. Which side is moral.

Everytime Hamas acquiesces to Israeli demands the Netanyahu/Ben Gvir led government move the goalposts further away. Their demands now include: 1. Hamas releases all of the hostages at once 2. Hamas disarms 3. Demilitarization of Gaza 4. Israel is given overall security control of the Strip 5. Civil control is given to a body that isn't the PA 6. No partial deals - meaning no ceasefires, no releasing in stages, and no negotiations The Israeli government has condemned the people of Israel and Gaza to an endless war. Even if Hamas wanted to grant Israel all of its requests, how can it? It is 1 organization in a place with dozens of various groups and factions not to mention that if they and the PA relinquish control who is left who has the experience, structure, and mandate to lead Gaza's civil structure? This is simply a nightmare that we can't wake up from

@HenMazzig I wish Israelis would ask, "What could we have done differently to avoid this and future tragedies?" Instead of the usual, "How many people is it acceptable for us to kill to achieve 'deterrence'"

Jews don’t need “thoughts and prayers” after antisemitic incidents. We need the world to ask, “How can we prevent the next tragedy?”

Have you heard of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations? Probably not, I'd imagine that would get in the way of your busy masturbation schedule. It's the treaty governing how diplomacy works between nations and has a lot to say about embassies. In short, diplomatic immunity can be waived upon request like with the 1997 case of Georgian diplomat Gueorgui Makharadze who was tried and imprisoned in the US for causing a fatal car crash. The US has other means of retaliating besides just shrugging their shoulders and saying iT's EgYptIAn SoIL Also:

@losttohistory @EYakoby Na,you are just yet another weak minded fool using tropes and buzzwords because you dont understand how embassies work. I bet you spend a solid chunk of every day hurting your own feelings and mewling like the truly pathetic stain that you are. Have you always been this weak?

@losttohistory @EYakoby You seem genuine, and I believe that YOU ask this question genuinely, I don't believe Tucker does. Most of the people that gather around these types of questions are not hiding their derange hate for my people (Jews). They are not asking questions they are delivering a message.

Tucker Carlson’s guest: “Well it turns out I think the story we got about World War 2 is all wrong. One can make the argument that we should’ve sided with Hitler.” I’m disgusted by how many conservatives I once respected who are completely silent on this.

And that's why these conversations that Tucker is having are so interesting. Contemporaries are looking back and asking the question, "Could aligning with the Reich have both prevented the Holocaust and pushed back the communists while also creating a world in which nations were beholden only to their native citizens?" Eyal and I think you would probably agree that the communists taking over and the Holocaust happening was the worst possible outcome of WWII. You'd probably say that the world as it is today is in a horrible situation largely due to globalism and mass immigration and that a different global order led by a powerful US and Europe would have been far preferable to a US and Soviet led global order. So again, I ask the question of, assuming I've correctly identified your world views, how can you say that history played out exactly how it was supposed to and anyone who questions that is an anti-whatever or an x-ophobe if you hate the current prevailing ideology?

@losttohistory @EYakoby Right... as oppose to Hitler that just wanted to be left alone and didn't want to impose his murderous ideology on the world at all.... Stalin and Hitler are similarly evil, the main reason Hitler had to be fought against first is he openly raced for world domination first
