I’ve always loved this. It’s hard watching your child suffer knowing you can’t fix it and I’ll always wonder ‘what if’ he hadn’t got sick. BUT he’s still my absolute pride, joy, motivation and the reason for all I do. Who needs Italy!

Three 1st’s for me this week… first ever GIC at West Herts, first time directing a GIC and first time doing the new style course. All of which leads to a rock and roll Saturday evening reading my ‘blue book’ I’m having a drink Wednesday night when it’s over!

22 years today since I joined the London Ambulance Service… which is amazing as I’m not old enough to have worked for that long!! 🚑🚑. Met some of my favourite people there too @ladybradshawcb @sarah_rainb0w

Our ALERT course helps colleagues to gain the tools to assess and recognise deteriorating patients.   The course is a comprehensive day of learning comprised of presentations, demonstrations and simulations to help staff learn to help identify life threatening complications.
