@SpoilerSpree You have to get to the end of the stage without hitting one cactus. I might rethink this event.

@LotusFluffy I cant trigger desert zone 1-3 event. I've repeated dozens stage attacking cactus there.

@DanielDiggle When you build them in game, do you usually use the engine animation or in code with tweening? (or something else). These look good!

@MashArcade I think this will look better when you'll add texture. If the first few pixels are grass, it'll look like the player is stepping in the grass.

Right now, it places the player at the highest of the two heights to prevent the player from clipping down into the slope. This is the behavior we want, but it looks bad. What I did was leave the collision alone, but I draw the player's sprite at a height BETWEEN the two dots!

I've put slopes in my #gamemaker game, but the player hangs off the edge when standing on the slope and it looks horrible. Here's some solutions to that problem! A thread. 🧵 👇👇👇👇👇👇
