It means Jesus is not just someone we call on in emergencies, but someone we surrender every part of our lives to. Our thoughts. Our ambitions. Our relationships. Our future. The world constantly tells us to be led by feelings, status, money, or success. But none of those things can carry the weight of your life. Only Jesus can. What’s powerful is that Jesus became Lord through humility. He served. He suffered. He gave His life on the cross. Then God raised Him up above every name. The crown came after the sacrifice. Sometimes we want Jesus as Saviour, but struggle to let Him be Lord. We want His peace without His direction. His promises without obedience. But real freedom is found when we stop trying to control everything and trust His leadership completely. Even in football, business, relationships, or dreams, Jesus being Lord changes everything. Success no longer becomes your identity. Failure no longer destroys you. Because your life is built on Someone greater than both. One day every knee will bow before Him willingly or unwillingly. The question is: will we choose to surrender now? Prayer: Jesus, You are Lord over my life. Not just over parts of it, but all of it. Teach me to trust Your ways even when I don’t understand them. Help me to surrender my pride, my plans, and my fears to You. Lead me daily and let my life reflect Your authority and love. Amen.
