We would like you all to meet Oscar.
Every display we do in the Gwladys Street, a little lad would turn up to the cupboard and ask for a flag. He would never volunteer beforehand, he would just turn up on the day.
We have a few flags that kids can wave, so every Gwladys Street display we would leave one aside just for him.
We finally got to speak to him & invited him down to help us set up on Friday and yesterday before the game.
He said the last time he was inside Goodison when it was empty was with his Auntie Louise when he was little. We recreated that photo for him this weekend before we leave Goodison Park.
He joined us in the Park End yesterday to help with our display, he held the flag that was in Rotterdam in 1985.
We would like to thank Oscar for all his help this season and for helping us set up this weekend. Without the likes of Oscar our displays don’t happen.
