@Forest2Furnitur @wildandhigh Totally agree on this. I'm neither vulgar, uncouth, nor poorly educated, but in a lot of situations, sometimes you just need an F. And at the end of the day they're just words, not bullets.

@wildandhigh I am not rude nor do I have a limited vocabulary but sometimes golly gosh doesn't quite get across how irritated one is with one's fellow human beings.
I'd rather someone swear at me if I've upset them than use physical violence, swearing never bruised anyone.

@NlBro That's reassuring to know 😊 Worryingly I am certain that I should be somewhere closer to the end of one of my things, and I have at least three different endings. Maybe it's some kind of multiple choice fiction, and I can offer many endings for the reader to choose from?! 😂

@Dad__Miles Probably the best activity advice I've seen for years! Just do an active thing that you don't currently do. Ideally something that you think you could quite enjoy. Then keep doing it 😁👍

Don’t get caught up on zones, shoes etc
Best way to start is by doing anything at any intensity with what you have
The key is to develop the habit of doing something when it fits

@Forest2Furnitur Yup, I spent about half an hour trying to explain that to him but he wasn't having any of it! 🙄 He was initially looking for 10" kiln dried though, so we were onto a loser from the start... 😉

@Lou__Runs It can, 6 - 18 month is referred to as green. It's what is used for timber framed buildings.

I've known him for 15yrs, he started out chainsaw milling then moved into timber wholesale, has a warehouse in Yorkshire selling milled timber but knows nothing about the drying process.
Can't understand why a 7" thick slab drying for 3yrs reads 14% M/C outside and 35% inside 🤦

Guy in yesterday interested in buying a lot of timber at the right price, his price not mine. He tried to make out that the reason I'd still got boards in stock that he'd seen 6 months ago was because my prices were too high. He then went onto to tell me how I should mill trees

Oh… yeah so Goose unravels the paper and chews it, spitting it onto the floor below.
