This lawsuit isn't about "protecting marginalized voters." Just like the @loud_light / Appleseed lawsuits against the 10 ballot turn-in limit and signature verification of mail-in ballots, it's about protecting their ability to harvest ballots. #ksleg foxkansas.com/news/local/law…

@RealPatProctor @Jason_Alatidd @KansasSOS On the left we see @KansasSOS letter about the primary w notes explaining the data, which the SOS has confirmed. On the right we see testimony they literally provide to you during your committee showing the general data, so you have seen this before. What do you disagree with?

If @Jason_Alatidd had contacted me for this story rather than invoking my name and then quoting my X posts, I would have explained two things: 1. It may be true that only 100 ballots were rejected for no postmark during the 2024 general (I don't know if it is true or not; this story is the first place I heard this number and I hope he didn't get it from Loud Light and Appleseed).  But, according to the @KansasSOS, as many as ONE THOUSAND ballots were rejected during the 2024 primary for not having a postmark. The voter did everything right. The election officer did everything right. But because the USPS didn't affix a postmark, the ballot couldn't be counted. 2. This fact is the origin of my statement on X that thousands of rural voters were disenfranchised by the so-called "three-day grace period." Simple extrapolation of the data we do have back to 2017, when the grace period was put in place, makes this obvious. 3. Repealing the grace period eliminates the need for a postmark, ensuring every valid vote gets counted and restoring confidence in our elections. In the future, @Jason_Alatidd, if you're going to invoke my name as a proponent of a policy, I would appreciate the opportunity to speak for myself.#ksleg

@RealPatProctor @Jason_Alatidd @KansasSOS What on earth are you talking about, buddy? What are you accusing us of? Showing you the data provided to us by the @KansasSOS? Educating the public about open records data? Asking for any evidence of your claims? What is shameless about any of this?

@RealPatProctor @Jason_Alatidd Patty, all these temper tantrums are pretty desperate. You know you’re lying & it’s super easy to prove. Everything we provide is from the SOS office & you have access to it. Spreading election misinformation is loser behavior. Show literally anything to prove we’re not wrong.
Loud Light@loud_light

Oh honey, you can’t even announce your campaign without talking about us? Very precious. As we’ve said before, we encourage you to check the facts before making baseless claims. Here’s a few points of clarification for your next interview: #ksleg 1/6

@Jason_Alatidd Thank God you didn't just take @loud_light's word for it! There's no lie they won't tell to advance their policies. Before the veto override, they were claiming only 30 people were disenfranchised due to a lack of postmarking of their ballots in all of 2024!

When asked about his quote on women "stealing" the 2022 election, @RealPatProctor says: “That would be really terrible if I said that” You did! Its at 37:40 in this very public video that isn’t uploaded by Loud Light 🫢! 🚨 VID: rumble.com/v52y3hk-ks-rep… #kansas #ksleg

“That law was based on a xenophobic lie that noncitizens are engaged in rampant election fraud... there is 'no credible evidence' for that falsehood & correctly ruled that Kobach's DPOC requirement violates federal law & the U.S. Constitution.” - Dale Ho, lead attorney on KS case

Mr. Proctor wasn’t around when the #ksleg version of the #SAVEAct was in effect, but we were. It didn’t make our elections more free, fair, or secure. It was an unconstitutional attack on our right to vote. It’s shameful that @RealPatProctor wants to take us back to that.

Kobach’s law denied 31,089 Kansans the right to vote He investigated noncitizen voting in KS for 8 years When it was time to show any proof, the judges said his evidence showed the level of noncitizen voting in KS was “statistically indistinguishable from zero” #ksleg #SAVEAct
Pat Proctor@RealPatProctor

Congress inadvertently took away our ability as a state to require proof of citizenship to register to vote when they passed the NVRA. States need the SAVE Act passed so we can stop non-citizens from registering BEFORE they end up on our voter rolls!

Did y’all see @RealPatProctor respond to his clip about women voting in 2022? “I’m not gonna comment on a 30 second chopped up video”. Here’s more of that clip for the FULL context of Rep. Proctor talking about women voting and “vulnerabilities” in elections. #ksleg #kansas

We have a crisis of voter confidence in this state. I'm running for Secretary of State to restore confidence in our elections. I will fight to increase transparency, combat non-citizen voting and ballot harvesting, and clean up our voter rolls. #ksleg kake.com/news/video/hou…

@KC_Phil4 As far as we know, there hasn’t even been a debate on voter ID in #ksleg since like, 2011? So, no- this isn’t something we work on.
