A few hours down at Festival Gardens this morning with Penny and Steve M. We cleared around the cascade, removing masses of brambles and the dreaded invasive carex pendula! Don't forget our next regular volunteering session is tomorrow morning at 10.30am! #FestivalGardens

@LettySpoghetti I've heard the mistle thrush before, but I've not seen it. The willow warblers are normally the most vocal at that time 😆. I did see a fox this morning, though. It ran off into the overgrowth when it saw me coming 💖
