I’m ready to take the stage on Thursday and make my case to Mainers. But nobody should be shut out of a U.S. Senate debate because of an arbitrary threshold based on the results of an entirely different race. I urge News Center Maine to reconsider its standard for participation.

Spent today in Biddeford & Bangor marching & standing out with all of you against the disturbing state violence being inflicted on our neighbors. My heart is full knowing our state is standing up in protest against ICE.

This morning we have all learned of the sudden passing of Senator Lindsey Graham.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family, who is mourning the death of a loved one.
May his soul rest in whatever afterlife he has earned.

While I think ditching Platner for any of the losing gov candidates would help us defeat Collins, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not think that this race is layup now. It isn't. Jackson, Bellows, and Shah all have flaws that Susan Collins will try like hell to exploit.

The purpose of a large healthy primary should be having candidates who represent the fullest range of voters possible so all the issues get laid out and inform the nominee to be as representative as possible.

I got to know Matt well & believe he has the most fundamental qualities of Maine’s spirit. Compassion, integrity, understanding, thoughtfulness. I'm confident he'll accept this next challenge with the utmost seriousness & respect for Maine. He never made me feel out of place.

I'm not positive what's next for me. I'm definitely ready to go back to being a social worker for a bit, but my advocacy and activism will still be alive as it was before this campaign.
