⭐️ If you had told me Kerim Alajbegovic would be a breakout star at the #2026WorldCup and score one of the goals of the tournament, I would’ve said you’re stating the obvious. I wrote this piece in March last year, and said he can become one of the best wingers in the world. 👇

#England 0️⃣-0️⃣ #Ghana A slow first half from the #ThreeLions set the tone for a frustrating and lethargic performance, and despite a stronger closing ten minutes, Tuchel’s side were unable to break the deadlock. The African side deserve a lot credit for their defensive display.

@priest_rory Brighton are used to top players moving on after only a few years at the club (Cucurella, Caicedo, and so on), so I think they’d be a lot more willing to let him go than Spurs have been so far. However, I do understand why Tottenham have been so reluctant to sanction a move.

@LouisSelling He just wants to play which is fair enough. Perhaps his ego is a little big for a 19 year old. If he does progress to become a top defender then expect him to stay 1-2 years before he is forcing a move again.

Michael Svoboda for €5m is a nice bit a business from #BHAFC He adds height, leadership, and depth in what could be a long season for the Albion. And for #THFC fans who think this ends the Vuskovic saga, he is very likely to be a Webster replacement, and NOT a Van Hecke one.

@priest_rory It’s getting close to the 50million mark, and with how hard we’ve pushed, how high we’ve bid (for our standards), and how much he seemingly wants the move, I’d be surprised if it isn’t wrapped up pretty soon in one way or another.

@LouisSelling You just need to pay us 50-60 million + sell on clause then the saga will be over.
