Eskom and City Power teams conducted an assessment today, 26 March 2026, at approximately 20:30, and identified that the incident relates to a flash on the white phase busbar on the City Power network. City Power has informed Eskom that they will commence with the necessary repairs on their infrastructure. Eskom remains available to support and collaborate with City Power to ensure safe restoration of supply to their affected customers. Customers are encouraged to continue following updates from City Power regarding restoration progress.
