Do you think Liverpool should sign a right back in the summer, and if so, who would you want to sign? Frimpong hasn’t massively impressed there. Bradley I like but probably a rotation player. Jones and Gomez can play there but likely one maybe even both will be departing. We need to keep Szoboszlai as far away from that position as possible next season. So for me yeah we do need one! Really like the athletic capabilities and experience of Dumfries yet he comes with drawbacks. Not sold on Porro personally. Livramento fantastic but injury doubt? Palestra looks exciting. My pick of the bunch would be Kayode and I’m slightly surprised the links aren’t stronger but what do I know. Let me know your thoughts below

@EzraNtsyori @LFC @premierleague Leoni would have played more but for his ACL injury. Van Dijk played 37 games in league last season & 36 the season before. It actually shows how important he is & we don't have many leaders left so barring injury he'll probably do same again next season

Diouf would be good option at left back if Kostas is sold & Liverpool had scouted him previously when at Prague. Mane stays at Wolves & develops by playing full season in Championship

Which player would you sign from the relegated clubs for Liverpool? My pick is definitely Matheus Fernandes. I wouldn’t mind Mane either but he would go back out on loan.

@ZaanTalksFooty I think Liverpool are open to selling Jones at right price, probably around £25-35m & I feel if Inter come in 4 him then he probably pursues it. Obv he's got a young kid so probably wants 2 stay here & we need him for the homegrown quota in CL.

@ZaanTalksFooty The thing is the player wants to be a starter & Slot clearly doesn't trust/rate him high enough. If Konate goes, then he needs replacing. A top experienced CB will be £50m+ then there's a replacement for Salah so I think we cash in on those in last year of deals

The crazy situation that has put Harvey Elliott’s promising career on hold - stuck at nine games for Aston Villa on loan - is deeply frustrating on a human and professional level. It looks even crazier given the struggles of Villa’s squad players against Spurs. And also Liverpool’s need for some invention and energy, including a stronger option on the right against Manchester United. What a sad waste of a year for Elliott after a terrific Euro Under-21s where he was Player of the Tournament. He just wants to play. Last summer Elliott was looking forward to the season and hoping to force his way into the England senior squad. This loan with obligation to buy after 10 games has proved a millstone given Unai Emery doesn’t want to buy. You have to feel for Elliott. Clubs, PL, PFA and FIFA (because of the two-team rule) have to work to ensure a young player’s career isn’t put on hold again. Elliott deserves better.
