Hot take that shouldn't be hot: Backtested algos and signal bots aren't the edge people think they are. Markets evolve. Static rules break. I get the skepticism. But here's what gets lost in that conversation — institutional desks have used quantitative, data-driven models for 30+ years. Renaissance. Citadel. Two Sigma. Every major market maker. They're not guessing. They're using structured data to find probabilistic edges. That's not fantasy, that's how modern markets actually work. And let's be real — if you use moving averages, RSI, MACD, ICT or any indicator on your chart, you're already using data-driven tools to help steer your direction. That's the same concept. Just a different layer. The problem isn't data-driven trading. The problem is people selling you a backtested bot with no methodology behind it and calling it AI. Nobody can predict where the market is going. But you can understand where the big money is positioned and what conditions are already set before price moves. One is guessing the future. The other is reading the room.

When NYSE opens, if we go above 25825 and hold, on retest hold will take a long, if we go below 24700 on retest rejection will take a short. Volatility still high... size down
