Most traders are always looking for confirmation from the market… ‘Is this the right trade?’ ‘Should I enter now?’ ‘What if it goes the other way?’ That hesitation is what keeps them stuck. Because the goal isn’t to be 100% sure the market will never give you that. The goal is to have a plan you trust enough to execute without fear. So do your analysis, trust it and take it.

What works for trader A might not work for you, take it or leave it. Back in my 200 level, a course mate introduced me to trading. The guy showed me everything he knew. Same knowledge, same setups… but different results. He kept winning, I kept failing. That’s when it hit me, this game is personal. I stopped trying to trade like him and started figuring out what actually fits me, my mindset, my patience, my risk tolerance. It wasn’t instant, but when it clicked… everything changed. You can have a mentor, but don’t lose yourself trying to copy them. Learn, adapt, then build your own edge. Keep searching, keep testing, keep refining. Your style is out there, and when you find it, that’s when the real consistency begins.

Earlier today, I needed some quick funds and went straight to Bybit. I forgot to properly filter the time duration and reached out to a vendor who wasn’t even active. I waited for about 25 minutes, expecting the timer to run out so I could switch to another vendor. While waiting, I went to freshen up in the bathroom. When I came back, my phone was flooded with messages. I quickly confirmed the payment and released the coin immediately. But it got me thinking… why was he so tense? Was he thinking I’d steal from him, or is that just how P2P trading makes people anxious sometimes?

Waited 4 hours for a setup. Ignored it. Took a random trade in 2 minutes. Got humbled instantly. Life of an impatient trader.
