Post-run endorphins have been a great mood lifter during lock down & we know the joy of stretching will be even more sweet when we get to do this looking out at the iconic views of Big Ben again! For now keep safely running or walking when you can, & we hope to see you soon! 4/

Let’s talk stretching! With a background of teaching group fitness classes we know the importance of a good stretch after a workout, and so when Love London Running Tours launched we made sure every tour included time to stretch at the end. 1/

With everyone in lock down at the moment we know it is easy to skip the stretching part to spend an extra few minutes on a run, or to return to work or childcare responsibilities. However, if you can include even a few minutes of stretches your body will thank you for it! 3/

Unless our guests preferred to do their own we would then guide them through a series of the main stretches, making sure to include some for then upper body too as you’d be surprised how hard your shoulders and arms are working when you run! 2/

We know this is a stressful and worrying time for many of you, for those who can exercise we highly recommend getting out even for a short run/walk as it always lifts our mood and like Jacqui found out you never know what you may discover in your local neighbourhood! 👌3/3
