I wouldn’t normally do this here on Twitter, but a lovely family day has ended rather disappointingly after a trip to our local Prezzo restaurant. We waited 50 minutes for the pizzas to arrive, two of which were totally undercooked and soggy so we could not eat together as a family. Others in the restaurant were also sending food back. It all appeared unprofessional and chaotic, I’m afraid. They cooked them again but by this time we’d had enough (not food, I might add) and just wanted to leave. Sure, they boxed this one up for us to take home - £15.95 and rather scant lack of topping for the money, don’t you think? I will add that one of the waitresses tried her best, the manager waived the bill other than a couple of drinks, but not what we ultimately wanted of course. I tried to shake his hand to thank him for the gesture - he didn’t even look me in the eye. At that point we left. I did not pay for the drinks. We were told that they’ve had 7 managers in a year, amusingly the same number of pieces of pepperoni on this rather lame looking pizza. Ha! Something is obviously very wrong. Wages? Training? Who knows? Don’t think we shall be beating their door down again. @love_prezzo? Certainly not me.

@TedUrchin Last meal we had at the local one was total garbage. And 130 quid for 4 people! Sadly we won’t be going back. Something as very really gone wrong as this used to be our fav place!

@TedUrchin I’ve never been back to Prezzo when they refused us a table at 6,30 saying all the empty tables were booked. When we walked past an hour later the tables were still unoccupied
