An overwhelming majority of Americans - nearly 80% - want to ban gerrymandering. Just 7% say they favor it. But only one party is willing to do anything about it. It’s time to officially make ending gerrymandering core to the Democratic brand.

NEW: Ole Miss' Pete Golding on tampering accusations from Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney: "I’m not going to sit up here and say whatever we did or we didn’t do, was it right or was it wrong? But, you know, when you go through what we went through (with tampering), and what you’re seeing day-in and day-out, some things you feel like shouldn’t matter that they’re making a big deal about." We have gained something like 200+ followers today! I would say the movement is real! Let’s fix our state! The goal will be to start sharing bill ideas to get Representatives to sponsor. Some will be bills they are already working on, some will be new bills not previously attempted. We will track the bills see how, why, where, who kills them and then use that with the data we already have to make a priority list of the Representatives/Senators who least serve us on the Republican side. Initially the senate is the problem because the House largely is willing to take things on and send decent bills to the senate, but the senate amends or kills them in a committee. Until the House is free from the Senate, it’s harder to know with much certainty exactly who the problem reps are, although Leadership is not great at times, they at least listen typically when we get loud enough.

@StephenM shut up you ugly fuck
