Continuing with our #CrayolaCreativityWeek fun! Students created portraits depicting how they feel when they try something new or show their skills to an audience. They drew a symbol to represent their passion and butterflies in different colors to show their many feelings🦋

A librarian’s dream today. Kids totally engaged, a wonderful assistant processing books, a parent helper, a random parent coming in asking if I needed anything and an a student playground helper all showing up after the same time. The best 60 minutes!

Our Global Travel mural is complete. On it are quotes from students explaining what act of kindness they can give to bring peace to others. This mural will be cut and the pieces will be shared with nine other schools in both the USA and Europe. #studentsrebuild

Our Book Olympian group had a great time participating in the LFPL 4H program making dog treats and doggie bags for Metro Dog shelter and cards for children in the hospital last night. What a great giving back project to bring the story Dogtown, their Nov book, to life!

Primary students had fun engaging in the author visit today with Brittany Thurman. They participated in the telling of the story, Fly, as well as asked thought provoking questions.
